It doesn't state 5th edition for the trial and is slightly more expensive than I'd have liked, but it is a complete solution. I've bookmarked. Worth looking into. An antivirus is pointless without the updates. I think the free trials are my best option for now, at least I'll have a few months of free AV protection. Thanks again for your comments. I talked of trials not to use them as solely a way of protection but just to select one to buy, if u like it ofcourse.
I will eventually buy one. I just didn't want to just get one without knowing what else was out there, also I wanted to get a good one inexpensively or free if possible. I have an 18 month phone contract, so after approx 5 months of free update trials , I will choose a years paid subscription out of the best.
