Each time you use the rigger it can be removed from the boat by removing two wingnuts and sliding the rigger off of the tubes. Quick and easy! The Virus sliding rowing rigger needs to be mounted no more than 3 inches below the top of the gunwale to clear the wing. Thwarts, seats, or other sturdy cross members should be used to support the rigger.
