Good luck. Good luck Good question. I don't remember receiving GR3 or any new serial number when I upgraded to 8. Do an install from the original CD installer. Activate, and then run in standalone.

Reboot your system and update to the last version. Run again as a standalone, and reboot again. Yeah- whatever was your original installer for Guitar Rig. I followed your instructions and when I got to the point where you said to 'update' I launched SC and clicked on the 'Update' tab and Service Center said that I've already got the latest version.

And GR3 appears to be ready to rock and roll, but I'll reboot once more anyway per your instructions and keep you apprised of what happens when I go to use it shortly. Or did you mean for me to click on the Upgrade icon in the 'Overview' tabbed section of SC instead of the 'Update' tab? When I did click on the Upgrade icon SC prompted me for an upgrade serial number.

So I just skipped that part and rebooted again. Also, I didn't realize that there was a pedal involved. So I downloaded and installed the Rig Kontrol driver using the link provided earlier in this thread by Fog.
